Soprano Titanium, a diode laser platform from Alma Lasers, sends three wavelengths into the skin together, and the warmth it builds is what titanium lifting in Korea uses to firm loose facial skin. At Pixelab Beauty Clinic the treatment is priced by kJ of energy, from 30 to 90 kJ, and the clinic's guide plans 3 to 5 sessions, 4 weeks apart.

Who titanium lifting in Seoul suits
Titanium lifting is a non-surgical skin tightening treatment that heats the skin with laser light. It works on the skin layer itself. Faces where the main change is mild softening along the jawline, cheeks or under the chin fit that description. A face where heavy skin folds over the jaw has moved past what heat in the skin can reach, and a surgeon's opinion is the more useful starting point there.
The treatment is planned as a course. Each session adds a small amount of heat-driven change, so the people who get the most from it are those who can return every 4 weeks for several visits. Travelers who can only come once can still book a single session, with the understanding that one visit is the first step of a course.
Laser heat on irritated, sunburned or recently tanned skin raises the chance of blistering and dark patches, so the second list below is a list of reasons to postpone. Once the skin has settled, the course can begin.
Usually a good fit
- Early loosening along the jawline, cheeks or under the chin
- Skin that has lost firmness but has no heavy folds
- Able to return for 3–5 sessions, 4 weeks apart
- Prefer a treatment done under numbing cream
- Need to fly home on the day of treatment
We may suggest waiting
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Sunburn, a fresh tan or peeling skin on the face
- Inflamed acne, a cold sore or broken skin in the area
- Deep sagging where a surgical result is expected
- Recent laser or chemical peel on the same area (tell the clinic)

How the Soprano Titanium laser heats the skin
A diode laser is a laser that produces light from a semiconductor chip at a fixed wavelength. Soprano Titanium, made by Alma Lasers, combines three diode wavelengths in one handpiece. Each wavelength is absorbed differently by water and tissue, so together they spread warmth through several depths of the skin. The handpiece glides across the face in repeated passes while its cooled tip touches the surface, which keeps the top layer comfortable as heat builds underneath.
Collagen fibers contract when they are warmed, and over the following weeks the skin lays down new collagen in response to the controlled heat. That slow rebuilding is the reason the plan is a course of sessions. The energy delivered in one session is counted in kilojoules (kJ), the unit the clinic's plans are priced by.
The research base for this device is indirect. No study in the clinic's reference list tests Soprano Titanium lifting itself. A study of a different diode laser at two wavelengths found facial skin tightening was possible and that repeat sessions were needed to keep the effect (Voravutinon et al., 2015). Work on multiple wavelengths for facial contouring (Choi, 2023), long-pulsed Nd:YAG settings for wrinkles and laxity (Hong et al., 2014) and an infrared tightening device (Carniol et al., 2008) describes the same principle of deep heat in the skin with different equipment and small numbers of patients. These papers explain how the treatment works; they do not measure what this platform achieves.
Titanium lifting came to the clinic early. According to the clinic's records, Pixelab Beauty Clinic was the first plastic surgery clinic in Korea to bring in titanium lifting, and the clinic reports that its count passed 10 million shots in January 2026.
Face assessment
At consultationSkin laxity, skin tone and recent sun exposure are checked, and the kJ plan is chosen.
Numbing cream
The face is cleansed and numbing cream is applied to the treatment area.

Prices
Titanium Lifting Cost in South Korea
Titanium lifting is sold by the amount of laser energy, so the three single-session plans are 30 kJ, 60 kJ and 90 kJ. A kilojoule figure is the total energy delivered across the face in that session: a higher number means more passes or a larger area. The 60 kJ and 90 kJ plans are listed with Ethosome on the clinic's price sheet, so ask what that step adds before you choose a level.
The fourth line is a one-year subscription that covers a session every 6 weeks for twelve months, for patients who live in Seoul or visit often enough to use it.
The figures on each card are list prices without tax. Korea's 10% VAT is charged on top at payment, and the card shows that VAT-inclusive total next to the list price, which makes it easier to budget a course of several sessions in advance.

Titanium lifting side effects and limits
Laser heat in the skin brings expected reactions and some less common problems:
- Redness and warmth on the treated face, which fade over hours to a few days.
- Mild swelling, more noticeable under the eyes and along the jaw on the first day.
- Burns or blisters if heat builds too far in one spot; tell staff at once if a pass feels sharply hot.
- Dark patches (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation), more likely on tanned or darker skin and with sun on healing skin.
- A smaller change than hoped: tightening from heat is gradual, varies between people and fades without repeat sessions.
Contact the clinic if redness spreads after the first few days, a blister forms or the skin feels painful to touch.
The photos above come from patients treated at the clinic, and results vary with skin thickness, age and the number of sessions completed.

FAQ
Titanium lifting questions
How long does titanium lifting last?
The clinic gives no fixed number of months. How long the firming holds varies by person, and repeat sessions can be booked to maintain it once the 3 to 5 session course is complete. Collagen keeps forming for weeks after each visit, so the full effect of a course appears gradually.
What is the downtime after titanium lifting?
Redness and warmth on the treated skin can last from a few hours to a few days. Higher kJ levels, thin or sensitive skin and areas like the jawline that receive more passes tend to sit toward the longer end. Makeup and daily plans can resume once the warmth has faded.
Can I fly home on the same day?
Yes. According to the clinic, a same-day flight home is possible after titanium lifting. The harder part to plan is the course: sessions are 4 weeks apart, so 3 to 5 sessions mean either several trips to Seoul or a stay long enough to cover them.
Does titanium lifting hurt?
Numbing cream is applied before the laser, and the handpiece tip is cooled while it moves over the skin. Most of the sensation is a building warmth, with brief hot spots over bony areas such as the jaw. Say so during the pass if any spot feels sharply hot.
Titanium lifting or Ultherapy: which is right for me?
Titanium lifting warms the skin layers with diode laser light over a course of 3 to 5 sessions. Ultherapy PRIME places focused ultrasound points deeper below the skin in a single session reviewed after 6 to 12 months. The depth of your laxity, your travel schedule and budget decide which fits.
Is titanium lifting the same as Soprano Titanium?
Titanium lifting is the name used in Korea for skin tightening on the Soprano Titanium platform by Alma Lasers. The Soprano name is also known for laser hair removal, and this page covers only the facial tightening use, with plans priced by kJ of energy.
What is the one-year titanium plan?
It is a subscription listed on the clinic's price sheet that covers a titanium lifting session every 6 weeks for a year, paid as one total. It suits people who live in Seoul or visit regularly. Visitors on a short trip can book single 30, 60 or 90 kJ sessions instead.
Do titanium lifting prices include VAT?
No. The prices are listed before tax, and 10% VAT is added at payment. For example, the 60 kJ plan is ₩990,000 before VAT and ₩1,089,000 with VAT. Ask for a written quote that lists the kJ level and the number of sessions.
What are Dr. Jongkeun Song's qualifications?
Dr. Jongkeun Song is a Korean board-certified plastic surgeon and the Medical Director of Pixelab Beauty Clinic. Plastic surgery training covers the structure of the face and how skin heals after injury, which is the groundwork for judging laxity and heat tolerance. Dr. Song trained at The Catholic University of Korea hospitals.
Can I consult in English?
Yes. English interpreters work at the clinic, and you can send questions in English on WhatsApp before you travel, for example about kJ levels or how to space the sessions around your trip. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Is a deposit needed to book titanium lifting?
Deposit and cancellation terms are not listed on this page. Request them in writing together with your quote before paying anything, so you know what can be refunded or moved if your flight dates change between sessions.
