DIA, N25 and Agnes are the three Potenza tips on the price list, and the tip you need sets both how deep the work goes and how the session is charged. For Potenza in Seoul at Pixelab Beauty Clinic, DIA is billed by the shot, N25 by the session and Agnes by cheek area or full face, and each price below is shown before VAT.

Who Potenza RF microneedling suits
Potenza is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling platform. Fine needles enter the skin and release RF energy at their tips, so heat lands in the dermis, the layer beneath the surface where collagen and oil glands sit, while the surface between needle points stays largely intact. Because the energy starts inside the skin, one device can be set up for pores, shallow acne scars or slack texture by changing the tip and the needle depth.
Needles and heat on skin that is already inflamed, infected or sunburned can deepen redness and slow repair. The conditions in the second list are reasons to hold off, and a session can be planned once they have settled or been reviewed.

How it works
How Potenza tips deliver RF energy under the skin
Radiofrequency is an alternating current that turns into heat as it meets resistance in tissue. In RF microneedling, needles carry that current to a chosen depth, and each insertion leaves a tiny column of heated tissue. The skin repairs those columns over the following weeks, and that repair phase is when new collagen and elastin are laid down. Needle depth and energy level are the two settings that change from one zone of the face to the next.
The clinic's price list sorts Potenza into three tips. DIA carries the label Lifting and is priced per 100 shots, with 500 shots noted as the recommended amount. N25 is labeled for pores and as an invasive tip, and the list adds its own remark that N25 is similar to Sylfirm X, a separate RF microneedling device on the same menu. Agnes is priced by area, either both cheeks or the full face. A pumping tip can be added when a liquid skin booster is pushed through the needle channels in the same session.
Trials of RF microneedling for acne scars show real but measured change. In a split-face trial, one session of microneedle RF smoothed acne scar texture to the same degree as a fractional CO2 laser; the RF side hurt more and the laser side showed more skin reaction (Hendel, 2023). A meta-analysis suggests fractional RF may suit people who still have some active acne or who pigment easily, while grading that evidence as low (Li, 2022). Studies on enlarged pores and on acne scars in Asian skin used other microneedle RF devices, so they explain the method and do not measure Potenza itself (Ren, 2022; Vejjabhinanta, 2013).
Active acne calls on a different idea. A single insulated microneedle can place heat inside individual oil glands, and a randomized trial of that technique reported steady improvement in acne (Ahn, 2019). That trial did not use Potenza and is cited for the principle only.
Settings can shift between the nose, the cheeks and the jawline within one visit, one small, precise adjustment at each needle site.
Skin check
At consultationPores, scars and firmness are mapped area by area, and a tip is matched to each concern.
Cleansing and numbing
Makeup is removed and numbing cream is applied to the zones that will be treated.
Tip passes
The handpiece is pressed flat to the skin and fires in rows, with depth adjusted for each zone.
Booster delivery (if added)
With the pumping tip add-on, a liquid skin booster is delivered through the fresh needle channels.
Cooling and aftercare
The skin is cooled and soothed, and aftercare and warning signs are covered before you leave.

Prices
Potenza Cost in South Korea
Each Potenza tip has its own price unit, so two quotes for the same visit can look very different. DIA is counted in blocks of 100 shots, and the list notes 500 shots as the recommended amount for a session, which means a full DIA session is five of those blocks. N25 is a single price per session. Agnes is set by area: both cheeks, or the whole face.
Every figure on the cards is the price before VAT. Korea adds 10% VAT at the counter, and the card shows the VAT-inclusive amount beside the base price, so you can add up a multi-tip plan before you book flights. The pumping tip is an add-on charged on top of the tip price, and the booster it delivers is priced separately on the skin booster menu.

Recovery after Potenza, day by day
Redness and heat begin; a same-day flight home is possible
Redness and warmth last at least 3 days; use a gentle cleanser and sunscreen
With some tips, small scabs or swelling appear; let scabs shed without picking

Safety
Potenza risks and side effects
RF microneedling heats tissue through many small punctures, and the effects below follow from that:
- Redness, heat and swelling for at least 3 days, longer with deeper settings.
- Pinpoint scabs or a faint grid pattern of needle marks, depending on the tip.
- Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, a temporary darkening that is more likely with sun on healing skin.
- Infection or a cold sore flare in people who carry the herpes simplex virus.
- Breakouts or milia, small white bumps, while the skin recovers.
- Burns or new scarring, possible with any RF energy device.
- Pain during the passes despite numbing cream; one trial found microneedle RF more painful than a CO2 laser.
- Partial change: pores and scars become less visible and texture smoother, and the degree differs from person to person.
Contact the clinic promptly if redness spreads after day 3, pain increases, pus appears or blisters form.

FAQ
Potenza questions to ask before booking
What is the difference between the Potenza DIA, N25 and Agnes tips?
They differ in purpose and price unit. On the clinic's list, DIA is the lifting tip sold per 100 shots, N25 is the pore tip described as invasive and sold per session, and Agnes is sold by area, both cheeks or full face. Your skin check decides which tip each zone gets.
Is Potenza N25 the same as Sylfirm X?
They are separate devices. The price list describes N25 as similar to Sylfirm X, and both deliver RF energy through microneedles, yet each has its own price line. If you came in asking for one by name, the clinic can explain how the two compare for your pores.
How much downtime does Potenza have?
Redness and heat last 3 days or more, according to the clinic, and some tips can also leave small scabs or swelling. Deeper needle settings and larger treated areas push you toward the longer end. Keep makeup light and use sunscreen while the skin is still pink.
Can I fly home or go sightseeing the day after Potenza?
Yes. The clinic states a same-day flight home is possible after Potenza, and sightseeing the next day comes down to comfort, with a hat and sunscreen on healing skin. Expect visible redness in photos for a few days, and carry moisturizer for dry cabin air.
How many Potenza sessions will I need?
The clinic's guide is 3 to 5 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, with the exact gap depending on the tip. Where you fall in that range depends on the tip and how deep the concern sits. Each repeat visit starts with a look at how the skin reacted last time.
Is numbing cream used, and does Potenza hurt?
Numbing cream is applied before Potenza. You will still feel heat and pressure with each row of needles, and in one split-face trial patients rated microneedle RF as more painful than a CO2 laser. Say so during the session if a zone feels too strong, and the energy can be adjusted.
What are the doctor's qualifications?
Dr. Jongkeun Song is a Korean board-certified plastic surgeon and the Medical Director of Pixelab Beauty Clinic. Dr. Song completed plastic surgery residency at The Catholic University of Korea, Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, a specialty whose work includes wound healing and scars.
Are Potenza prices before or after VAT?
Before VAT. Korean VAT of 10% is added when you pay, so Agnes on both cheeks at ₩390,000 becomes ₩429,000 with tax. A written quote lists every tip and add-on in your plan so the total holds no surprises.
Why is Potenza DIA priced per 100 shots?
DIA is counted by the shot because coverage changes with the size of the face and how many passes are made. The price list names 500 shots as the recommended amount, so a DIA session at that amount is quoted as five 100-shot blocks at ₩140,000 each before VAT.
Can a skin booster such as exosome be added to Potenza?
A booster can be added with the Potenza pumping tip, an add-on that delivers liquid through the needle channels. The tip costs ₩150,000 before VAT, and the booster itself is priced on the skin booster menu. Ask which products are available on your treatment date.
Can I talk to the clinic in English about Potenza?
Yes. An English interpreter is on staff, and you can send photos of your pores or scars on WhatsApp in English before you arrive to ask which tip fits. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Is a deposit required to book Potenza, and can I cancel?
Deposit and cancellation terms are not listed on this page. Ask for them in writing, alongside your quote for tips and shots, before sending any payment, so you know what happens if your flight changes.
